After that take a trip to the 23 acre lush Jingshan Park, covered in pines and fruit trees. Here the 43-metre-high Million Spring Pavilion (Wanchunting) sits atop the park's hill allowing visitors to appreciate a spectacular 360 degree vista of the city of Beijing. This is followed by a Hutong Cycle tour, which will enable you have greater insight into traditional Beijingers' lifestyle. We will then have a meal at a local snack restaurant Jiu Men Xiao Chi. This restaurant, located in a courtyard of great dimensions, serves an array of dishes which run back hundreds of years in time. After the lunch and biking around, we'll drive to the Temple of Heaven for a visit. The Temple of Heaven is the place the Ming & Qing emperor to set ceromony to pray good harvest every year. The structures there have been becoming the symbol of ancient Beijing. This will be followed by a show of your choice; Kungfu, acrobatics or Peking Opera (for an additional 150 RMB).

Day 3: Lama Temple, Beijing Panda Zoo, the Summer Palace and Olympic Stadiums (overlooking), farm stay (L+D)

Start the day early with a trip to the Lama Temple. The biggest lamasery in Beijing, it was built over 400 years ago and then turned into a temple devoted to the cult of the living Lama and is particularly interesting for its combination of mainstream Han and ethnic Tibetan Buddhist architecture. Then you'll have chance to visit our National Treasure, Panda at Beijing Zoo.
We then follow a uniquely designed walking tour of the Summer Palace, which allows you to have an in-depth view of Longevity Mountain and Kunming Lake, something many tour groups do not get the chance to experience as they are rushed in and out of the complex. Then we go to back to the future to catch an external glimpse of the Beijing Olympic Stadium which can hold no less than 80,000 people.
We then go on a trip to a village at the footsteps of the Great Wall and sleep there soundly (remember not to make any hotel bookings for this night).

Day 4: Jiankou - Mutianyu (4 hour trek) or Yellow Flower Great Wall (2 hour trek), back to Beijing City, free activity (B+L)

A great chance to see the sun rise while you sit on the centuries old Great Wall. For a few moments it's like you are transported back in time. After breakfast with the villagers we start our walk at Jian Kou, relatively unvisited and you can enjoy peace and serenity. We will finish the walk at Mutianyu, covering a distance of approximately 8km in 4 hours. Alternatively, you can go on the Yellow Flower Great Wall Hike, which only lasts 2 hours but is equally tranquil. We will stop for a well deserved lunch before heading back to Beijing, where you will have free time to explore the city.
