The Drum and Bell Towers

The Drum and Bell Towers are literally a few minutes by bike away (bikes are provided by the landlord free of charge). These were originally used as a means of telling the time in the past. They once were the tallest buildings in the old part of Beijing and they are located on the northern side of the central axis of the old area of Beijing.
