May 27: Beijing in the Evening (Overnight on the train)
We're meeting at Beijing North Station (XiZhiMen Train Station) at 20:00 for the overnight train Beijing North to Jining South, K89 departs at 21:00.
May 28: HuiTengXiLe Grassland (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner / Overnight in Yurt)
Upon the arrival in the early morning at 05:00, a bus will take us to the beautiful HuiTengXuLe grassland. We will have an easy morning, rest and sleep a little more and have a Mongolian breakfast. We will then hop on mountain bikes and cycle on a nice, quite and hidden trail and we'll pass windmills, beautiful lakes, live cattle stocks, and local villages.
Later there will be a mid-afternoon break at a gorgeous valley called the Yellow Flower Valley. Having a great Mongolian-style lunch, walking around the valley, and visiting a nomadic family. After lunch, take a nap in the yurt. Later in afternoon, we will cycle back to our tents to watch a horse-riding race and a wrestling competition while we enjoy the sunset. Dinner entrees will include Finger Mutton, roasted lamb, organic Mongolian vegetables. There will be folk music and dancing after dinner or we can grab a few beers, have our own performance and dance around a campfire.
Jining South ---- HuTengXiLe Grassland (1 hour driving, normally)

May 29: HuiTengXiLe Grassland ---- Hohhot (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner / Overnight at hotel)
To have a late morning, or get up early to enjoy the sunrise. Mongolian horses are the main attraction here and we will have some horseback riding fun after breakfast. You will know how Genghis Khan conquered the whole Asia and part of Europe. You have the option of sitting on the horse, guided by experienced nomads, or riding the horse on your own.
After lunch, lie down on the grassland, take a nap below the blue sky, read a book or drink some more. We will take a bus to the capital city of Inner Mongolia, Hohhot, in late afternoon. We're going to visit the a new landmark in the city of Hohhot --- Inner Mongolia Museum, which is holding 44000 objects relating to ethnic history in its collections. And then enjoy some super local cuisine in a nicely-decorated restaurant.
HuiTengXiLe Grassland ---- Hohhot (2 hours driving, normally)
May 30: Resonant Sand Gorge & Way Back to Beijing (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
Drive to the Resonant Sand Gorge, pass by the Yellow River (with the origin of five thousand years old China culture), and enjoy the magnificent view of Gobi. Later on get to the desert of called Resonant Sand Gorge. Take a cable car up the top of sand slope, do a bit walking around, try a camel riding, parasailing, or simply build sand castles, later slide the dunes down . Transfer to Baotou or Hohhot and have a nice dinner. After the dinner, run to the station or the airport for your way back home in Beijing.
Hohhot ---- Resonant Sand Gorge (3 hours driving, normally)

Tour Cost Included: Hard sleeper train Beijing-Jining and Baotou-Beijing. Accommodation for 2 nights (on double basis). Local transportation with English-speaking tour guide service. Entrance fees to the first gate of all sights. Meals as listed.
Tour Cost Excluded: Upgrade fees to soft sleeper train or flight. Optinal activities such as horse riding, camel riding, parasailing, etc. Tips to the tour guide & driver.
Tips:
Bring Sunglasses, sun lotion (necessary), thick clothes (necessary), enough water (the water on grassland are very salty, buy bottles of water on the way), some little eat (maybe you do not like the food there), beers (to sleep well on the train), snacks/energy complement, camera (awesome landscape), more clothes (we will be in winter on the night grassland and in summer on the desert) and your own towels, tooth brush, tooth paste, wipes.
