Day 1: cycle to the great wall, county meal, hike on the great wall
We are loaded into the van with our bikes and then head to the beautiful countryside in the north of Beijing. Once we get to the starting point, you will be given a bike, helmet, and a detailed map. Get on your bike and head east along a paved light-traffic road with the Great Wall always looming large ahead of you. Later on cycle to a part of un-restored section of the Great Wall, called yellow flower great wall, which very quiet and peaceful with great views all the way After lunch take out your map again, walk up to the great wall, keep hiking for 2 -3 hours, then take a path down to a little village, walk back to a country guesthouse which we have reserved for you.
Day 2: cycle to the Ming tombs optional, ( entrance fee is not included ), visit the tombs, get picked up, back to Beijing
after breakfast, back on the bike again, cycle to the Ming tombs following your map. The Ming Tombs are an attractive destination as much for the natural scenery as the tombs themselves. After about 3 hours scenic cycle, you will get to Changling, the earliest and largest of the Ming tombs dating back from the year 1413, after lunch, pay a visit to Changling, then get picked up by the bus and back to Beijing
