Itinerary

Day 1

The coastal city of Beidahe is a 3 hours drive and a traditional summer resort for Beijingers. Although it has had a bad reputation of being too touristy it does have a beautiful beach. We head down south about 15 km along the coast from Beidahe from there we get to another town called Nandaihe where there are much less tourists. We tart cycling along the coast on flat paved roads alongside endless ocean with the breeze on your face. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. On the way we stop to check out the village and take some photos. Later that afternoon we get to wander on the beach, or go swimming. After sampling the local sea food with dinner, we make camp and sit around the fire with some beer. You can stay in a tent or just sleep on the beach under the stars.

Day 2

The next morning, we will continue with some beach activities, then take a bus to Qinhuangdao. Here we visit the beginning of the Great wall, old dragon head where the great wall meets the sea ¡­after lunch we return by bus back to Beijing.

Price: 780 RMB per person,(including round transportation, bike, 2 lunch, 1 supper, 1 breakfast, stand room sharing with a roommate and all entrance fees)

Things to bring: Swimming suits, Sunglass, Sun block (necessary), a jacket for night, water, snacks/energy complement, camera and stuffs for staying overnight including sleeping bag.

Reservation:reservation is essential, directly showing up is not appreciated. Cancel before one day before the departure, still pay for the ride if you cancel late or dont show up on Saturday morning at time 8.00 am, as we need to arrange the bus and bike.
