  • The express train from Beijing to Lhasa is a 47.5 hours scenic drive, we will take the luxury sleeping- beds, air-conditioned, with toilet, restaurants, oxygen available. We will cross Xi an and run through the Qinghai-Tibet plateau, on the world highest railway, climbing from 2,829m above sea level to 3,641m at Lhasa.
  • Tibet Tourism Department requires foreign visitors to Tibet to be part of a tour group, which made independent travelers impossible to get a permit. We have found a way around to get a 6 days travel permit (which enable travelers to travel in Tibet freely, extended stay or travelling to base camp and some special areas need another travel permit which will be issued by a local government department, and it can be easily done by yourself with our first travel permit).
  • Journalists, Government Officials and members of certain religious groups will have troubles travelling in Tibet due to some sensitive reasons, the best thing is not to go.
